LETâS PUT THE FACTS ON THE TABLE
Weâve teamed up with the Swiss institute Eaternity to show how sustainable our products are. The institute takes a close look at each product and compares it with 100k similar foods in four different categories. First of all, they check how climate-friendly the product is â i.e. how much CO2 is created to make it. Our Swiss friends also take a close look at how much water is used in production â and how it fares in terms of animal welfare and rainforest protection.

… thatâs our Shredded Soy. Thatâs because when it was compared to more than 100k other products, our vegan Shredded Soy â just like our other soya products â managed to achieve top marks in every one of the Eaternity categories. Animal welfare? âcourse that! Rainforest protection? Obviously! After all, the soya is grown on the Danube in nearby Serbia and doesnât add to the deforestation of the rainforest. Water consumption and carbon emissions? Very low, on average. Well, that sounds really good, right?
Ingredients
De-oild soy flour, water.
May contain traces of celery, cereals containing gluten, egg, milk and sulfite.

Nutrition information
- GYROS, GOULASH, SCHNITZEL & MUCH MORE ENJOYMENT: You think a vegan diet is a bit monotonous? Nice try! Just think about it: with our Shredded Soy alone, you can create a huge variety of recipes. Youâll be spoilt for choice. What do you fancy eating today? Vegan gyros, tasty veggie goulash, a hearty stew, or maybe even spicy Asian food?
- AND WHAT ABOUT PROTEIN? Oh dear, what is it with people being worried that they wonât get enough protein on a vegan diet…? Well, thereâs no need to worry anyway, but even less if our soya protein forms part of your diet. After all, itâs packed with protein. 100 g of our soya products contain a whopping 50 g of protein. Thatâs over 30 g more protein than in minced beef!
- NOT FAR TO TRAVEL: Itâs certainly from a good neighborhood! Unlike the soya grown in other places, our Serbian soya doesnât clock up many food miles. That makes the Shredded Soy particularly sustainable. Oh, and the soya beans theyâre made from arenât genetically modified either. What more could you want?!

Packaging
We use these materials in this product.
At Veganz, sustainability doesnât stop at the ingredients â we also try to make our product packaging as sustainable as possible. And weâve managed it for our Veganz Shredded Soy as well! The bag may look like plastic, but itâs actually a foil made from sugar cane, starch, plant oils, and cellulose. In other words: itâs 100% compostable, too! Another thing we totally avoid is mineral oil, so we use water-based colours for printing.
