LET’S PUT THE FACTS ON THE TABLE
We’ve teamed up with the Swiss institute Eaternity to show how sustainable our products are. The institute takes a close look at each product and compares it with 100k other foods in four different categories. First of all, they check how climate-friendly the product is – i.e. how much CO2 is created to make it. Our Swiss friends also take a close look at how much water is used in production – and how it fares in terms of animal welfare and rainforest protection.

Whether you focus on the rainforest, CO2 emissions, water consumption, or animal welfare: our Soy Medallions have managed to achieve the top score in each of the Eaternity categories, making them into real sustainability heroes. Take a look at this comparison: a shashlik skewer made with pork causes 5x as much CO2 as our soya shashlik at just 664 g of CO2. Plus, production uses 95% less of our scarce water supplies compared to average consumption. Our soya products aren’t just more sustainable and climate-friendly than meat, they’re even better than most other vegan alternatives: that’s because the soya comes from Serbia instead of the typical growing regions in South America.
Ingredients
De-oiled soy flour, water.
May also contain traces of celery, cereals containing gluten, egg, milk and sulfite.

- NOT JUST GOOD ON A SKEWER: The Veganz Soy Medallions are perfect for BBQ, saté, or shashlik skewers – but they can actually do much more than that. How about getting out your skillet and making delicious Asian food?
- AND WHAT ABOUT PROTEIN? Oh dear, what is it with people being worried that they won’t get enough protein on a vegan diet…? Well, there’s no need to worry anyway, but even less if our soya protein forms part of your diet. After all, it’s packed with protein. 100 g of our soya products contain a whopping 50 g of protein. That’s over 30 g more protein than in minced beef!
- NOT FAR TO TRAVEL: It’s certainly from a good neighborhood! Unlike the soya grown in other places, our Serbian soya doesn’t clock up many food miles. That makes the Soy Medallions particularly sustainable. Oh, and the soya beans they’re made from aren’t genetically modified either. What more could you want?!

Packaging
We use these materials in this product.
At Veganz, sustainability doesn’t stop at the ingredients – we also try to make our product packaging as sustainable as possible. And we’ve managed it for our Veganz Soy Medallions as well! The bag may look like plastic, but it’s actually a foil made from sugar cane, starch, plant oils, and cellulose. In other words: it’s 100% compostable, too! We also use inks that don’t contain any mineral oil to print our packaging.
